LOQUI
Organic materials transform a formerly industrial space into an inviting, casual restaurant. With nods to a handcrafted Mexican taqueria, an aesthetic unique to Loqui is at home in DTLA.

Loqui is situated in a recessed courtyard in the Art District near downtown Los Angeles. Evocative of a handcrafted taqueria in Mexico, the design utilizes terracotta bricks in a simple cartesian pattern with periodic embossed bricks. The terracotta wraps the walls, seating and outdoor areas. Stained oak, olive stucco and patinaed steel complete the design aesthetic.
