A mural featuring a tattoo artist’s take on Japanese painting creates a sensorial experience in this Little Tokyo sushi bar.

Sake Dojo is within the recently remodeled Mikado Hotel in the heart of Little Tokyo. This historic building, dating back to 1914, is once again a vital part of the Little Tokyo community. The art of tattoo artist, Horifuji, fills the walls of the interior with a lenticular take on Japanese painting. A sushi bar with a French bistro sensibility, the restaurant includes a liquor and sake bar, a sushi/raw bar, open table seating, and private dining and banquet rooms.
